In compliance with the current provincial stay-at-home order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, recreational and sports fields and courts located at schools in the Limestone District School Board property are closed.

The provincial government recently clarified that playgrounds, including those at Limestone schools, may remain open, provided users follow all public health directives. This means that while on school property, playground users must:

  • wear face coverings
  • one household (people who live together in the same household) on structures at a time
  • physically distance from others when coming and going

We recognize playgrounds are important to our school communities, however, users must follow the current public health directives, specifically limiting public congregation.

Thank you for following all directives to maintain the health, safety and well-being of our communities.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
