Learning in Limestone
 is a dynamic partnership with local television station Global Kingston/CKWS-TV to showcase the varied learning opportunities available to students across the Limestone District School Board.

If you are a Limestone high school student with a passion for media and education, you could be the next co-host. Auditions are underway for the upcoming season. Upload a 30-second audition video telling us why you want to be a host. It is a great way to get to know the school district, and you gain valuable experience in the broadcast industry. Auditions are being accepted until February 8, 2019.

2017-2018 student hosts Jerome Smith and Kirsten Korkola in the CKWS-TV studio.The weekly segments, which highlight the Board's unique programming in in elementary and secondary classrooms, also provides a rich and authentic learning experience for our student hosts. These students are offered a co-operative education experience that allows them to experience broadcast journalism in a fast-paced, real-world environment. Segments air during the CKWS-TV Morning Show Thursday mornings with an encore presentation during The WS Daily at 5:20 p.m., Thursdays. If you miss an episode, you can watch a replay at noon, Fridays.
