Image of school graphicThe Ministry of Education released its school reopening guidelines on August 3, 2021. The document outlines how school boards will operate during the 2021-2022 school year.

Staff are currently
reviewing the document to finalize plans for September and how this will affect learning in Limestone. We know students and families have many questions and we are working on providing answers as quickly as we can following consultation with KFL&A Public Health.

We do know that students will return to daily in-person learning for the full school day  (except for students who have opted for Virtual School for 2021-2022), and that many safety protocols will remain such as daily screening for symptoms of COVID-19.

We will continue to work closely with public health and other community partners to ensure a safe return to in-person learning and minimize the spread of COVID-19.

We will share more information with students, families and staff in the coming days.
