The Grade 5 and Grade 9 Physical Activity Passes are designed to promote an active lifestyle among students in the KFL&A area. The pass allows free access to community recreation centres and is organized by KFL&A Public Health, area school boards and Kingston Gets Active, a community-wide strategy continues to raise awareness of the benefits of physical activity and to help create and enhance opportunities that will enable people to be physically active on a regular basis.
From September 25 until August 31, all Grade 5 and 9 students in the greater Kingston area can use their ActivPass. To access facilities, Grade 5 students show their physical activity pass, which they receive at school, and Grade 9 students show their student identification card or an ActivPass, which can be picked up in your school office.
