Academic Arts Enriched Program (AAEP)

The Limestone District School Board offers the Academic Arts Enriched Program (AAEP)
in Grades 9 and 10 to prepare students for arts-based Focus programs as well as university preparation and Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Grades 11 and 12. The Ontario Ministry Academic curriculum is infused with an arts focus, where applicable and appropriate, with a view to establishing an arts based learning community. Course material is also enriched via the program’s field study component. In this way, an arts perspective is encouraged and valued as an interpretation of the rigorous academic curriculum content. Any student entering the Grade 9 academic pathway may apply. AAEP is currently offered at Loyalist Collegiate & Vocational Institute.
