Limestone Learning Foundation

Graphic of a student using a computer.Limestone District School Board students have access to a variety of eLearning courses throughout the regular school year as well as during Summer Session. As a member of the Ontario eLearning Consortium, our students can take e-Learning courses that are offered by approximately 20 other school boards around the province.

The Ministry of Education has issued a new online learning graduation requirement, effective February 1, 2022, which requires students to complete two online courses prior to Graduation. Grade 9–12 students who take courses during summer session (including incoming Grade 9 students) will have those summer courses “count” as one of the two mandatory courses that meet the graduation requirement. Students in Grades 11 and 12 can also take e-learning courses as part of their regular course load during the school year (Semester 1 or Semester 2). Students in Grade 10 during the 2021-2022 school year are the first group of students required to complete this new eLearning graduation requirement.

Please contact the Student Services department at your local secondary school for information on eLearning course offerings and the registration process.

Current students may log in to our eLearning platform LDSB Minds Online.
